We have an amazing opportunity for a passionate and self-motivated individual to join our Mosman store team to support local businesses as a trusted Business Specialist - Instore.
This role is part time working 24 hours a week across Monday to Friday during daytime hours to support business customer needs.
What does a Business Specialist - Instore do?
Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be looking after Business Customers on the sales floor, working across the entire product and service range. Being naturally inquisitive, you will develop a strong understanding of your customers’ needs and build trusting relationships with your customer base. With a positive attitude in providing end to end solutions for business customers, you will proactively guide and support customers in making the right choice of products and services for their business.
In addition to growing existing business accounts you will seek out qualified leads and generate new business. Being proactive and having a can-do attitude will be essential for you to identify and develop these new opportunities in-store, along with being able to manage multiple activities within this busy role. You will be communicating with a variety of people including customers, peers, other team members, and support office stakeholders. Calm and composed in your approach, you will be able to demonstrate empathy as you communicate in a clear and compelling way, appropriate to the audience and setting.
What do I need to be a successful?
To excel in this role, you will have:
- Extensive experience in customer service
- Ability to build rapport with a wide variety of customers
- Effective communication skills
- Strong business acumen and experience in working with KPIs
- A proactive approach to seeking out new business opportunities
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Previous exposure to relationship-based selling would be highly advantageous
