Due to the continued growth of our B2B customer base, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Business Development Manager to join the team working across Brisbane. Officeworks is looking for a strong sales professional that is driven by activity and closing deals. The primary focus of this role is onboarding NEW business and passing to an Account Manager to grow the account.

To succeed in this role, you must have the following skills and attributes:

  • Demonstrated face to face sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Capability to provide a tailored solution to a varied customer base
  • Ability to handle complex sales cycles and meet targets
  • Sound business acumen with the ability to make commercially viable business decisions and,
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and strong time management skills.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Continued growth of our B2B customer base through new customer acquisitions in the Sydney CBD focusing on medium business clients
  • Building sustainable customer relationships in a short time frame based on clearly identifying your new customers’ needs and providing tailored solutions to meet these needs and,
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with Officeworks Business Specialists, our Customer Support Centre and our Retail Store network
