Our in-store Business Specialists play an important part in this purpose, supporting our Business customers in-store to help make bigger things happen for them and their Business.

We have an amazing opportunity for a passionate and self-motivated individual to join our Northmead store team to support local businesses as a trusted Business Specialist - Instore. 

About the role

Working Monday to Friday during business hours, you will focus on assisting Business Customers who shop at our Northmead store with the majority of your time spent on the sales floor engaging with business customers face-to-face.

Building and maintaining professional and effective relationships with our business customers will be key to your success in this role.

With a keen interest in understanding your customers’ business and needs, you will guide and support customers in making the right choice for their business from the wide range of products and services across the entire store.

Self-motivated, you will seek out opportunities to promote new 30-Day Business Accounts in-store and actively grow business sales, monitoring your performance against targets/KPIs (you can find out more details about our 30 Day Business Accounts on our website).

You will be communicating with a wide range of people including customers, peers, other team members, and support office stakeholders. Calm and composed in your approach, you will be able to communicate in a clear and compelling way, appropriate to the audience and setting.     

Skills and experience

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in customer service
  • Ability to build rapport with a wide variety of customers
  • Effective communication skills
  • A proactive approach to seeking out new opportunities
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Previous experience in a leadership role would be advantageous
