We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Security Architect (Project Delivery) to join our IT Security Division for a 12-month period.
Reporting into the Enterprise Security Architect, the Security Architect (Project Delivery) will lead the assessment of security architecture and controls for multiple projects, ensuring that security requirements are met, business objectives are achieved, and projects are delivered on time.
Working in collaboration with project teams, you will ensure security governance processes are followed and Officeworks IT security requirements are adhered to. Additionally, you will assist in time and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
You will identify security risks for projects and work with project managers to ensure risk mitigation and management. You will prepare documentation including security risk assessments, process documentation, solution architecture and network diagrams. You will review and challenge technical designs for new and existing environments, including the identification of security design gaps or technical oversights.
In addition, you will coordinate security vendor engagement throughout project delivery and ensure the effective transition of IT Security initiatives from projects into ongoing support.
Our ideal candidate demonstrates a strong IT Security background with 5+ years’ experience performing a similar role. You will have worked within a PCI-DSS environment, and demonstrate knowledge of the Australian Privacy Principles.
You have extensive experience in security requirements for public and private cloud and Software-as-a-Service and have worked in medium to large size business, ideally within the Retail sector.
Additionally, you demonstrate a relevant level of understanding across multiple security domains, including architecture/design, applications, auditing, logging and monitoring, authentication, authorisation, networking and encryption.
You demonstrate the ability to navigate an ambiguous environment and take a pragmatic approach to technical IT Security, looking at business objectives and value. You pride yourself on your ability to foster meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, presenting complex, technical information in a way that the broader business and non-technical stakeholders can understand.
